Terms of service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the London AQFA Checker plugin for ChatGPT, provided free of charge by Air & Flood Consultants (www.airandfloodconsultants.co.uk).
What the service is
An indicative screening of GLA Air Quality Focus Area and AQMA boundaries (held as of March 2026) around a single point in Greater London. It is not an air quality assessment, a survey, or professional advice. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your particular site, for example where the point found isn't exactly where your property or site boundary is.
Don't rely on it for decisions
Don't rely on the results for planning, buying, investment or health decisions. Check the council's own information and get site-specific advice from a qualified professional where it matters.
Data
Results use Greater London Authority Air Quality Focus Area boundaries (LAEI 2019, Open Government Licence v3.0), our own AQMA boundary dataset, postcode data from postcodes.io (Ordnance Survey, Royal Mail and ONS data, Open Government Licence), and OpenStreetMap data under the Open Database Licence.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Fair use
Don't use the service for bulk or automated lookups, or in a way that overloads the public services it relies on.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
